CORALista Blush Review!♥
Aloha! Hope you guys are having a good afternoon(: Before I start the review, I wanted everyone to know our new hash-tag is: #riveting! Enjoy the beauty review c:
-Gabbi {@gabbi-x}

OVERVIEW:
I never wore blush before, so when I saw Benefit's CORALista trial-size blush for sale, I had to try it!

PRICE: 7/10
I got mine on sale once it was a trial-size for around $7.OO, but the full size .28 ounce blush {that also comes with a thin brush} is normally $28.OO.

VERDICT: 4.5/10
This blush wasn't long-lasting at all. It was gone by 3rd period and you have to apply a thick amount with for it to show up on fair skin. The price for the amount you get is also way too much. The only upside is that the shade can compliment any skin tone. I recommend getting the trial-size first if you still want to try it so you don't waste your money(:

Seraphina Book Review!

Seraphina Book Review!
Hey guys, it's Maggie :)
#riveting

BOOK:
Seraphina by Rachel Hartman
Sequel expected in 2014

GENRE:
Fantasy

SYNOPSiS:
This book follows a girl named Seraphina. After 40 years of treaty, tensions are still high between the humans and dragons. Because the dragons can take on the human form, or their Saarantras, some are able to walk undetected among the humans, either by way of bell exemption (saarantras are usually required to wear bells so they can be identified), or illegally. This is where the story begins. As a half-dragon, Seraphina must hide the scandal of her true identity from the world. But when the stirring of an uprising begins, will it cause all of her carefully structured walls to crumble?

REViEW:
I thought this book was fabulous! It has a wonderful message and is a captivating tale. Hartman has done a magnificent job with world building in this book. It was original and had no Mary Sue characters in it. Seraphina was refreshingly faulted and Kiggs was not your typical tortured, brooding, angsty teen. The supporting characters were well developed and essential to the plot, which is always good.

There is just a slight touch of romance, emphasis on slight! It's just enough to tickle you without turning the book into a romance. I thought the writing was done well, and thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

RECOMMENDATiONS:
I would recommend this book to you if you like fantasy tales. It takes place in medieval times and deals with dragons and princes and the like. I was written fabulously and is extremely well developed.

Warm Bodies Movie Review!♥
What's up my lovelies?(: Hope everyone had an okay day today! #riveting
I just watched this movie, so I'm going to review it, enjoy c:
-Gabbi {@gabbi-x}

OVERVIEW:
A zombie apocalypse struck the world after a disease washed over the U.S. After the zombie R (the only letter of his name he remembers) saves Julie from an zombie attack, they form a relationship that changes the world of zombies and humans forever.

VERDICT: 9/10
You know that type of movie that you watch and you like it so much you wish you've never seen it just so you can watch it all over again? This is one of those movies(: The special effects makeup was amazing, and the movie was refreshing once you never see a love story like this. It kind of reminded me of one of my favorite Tim Burton movies, Edward Scissorhands in the sense that a misunderstood, horror-type boy falls in love with a normal, blonde-haired girl. It was a great movie that I was on the edge of my seat for the entire time, a must-see if you like romance, fantasy and adventure!
☼got2b beach trippin' spray review☼
hey guys, it's emma! quick announcement - i will no longer be making sets / be as active on my other account. so, this will probably turn into my main account that i'm on! feel free to contact me through this account, and i may be answering messages on my @iwishforyou account. anyways...

i bought this hairspray at cvs because it was on sale & i was looking for a good beachy wave spray (because my diy one FAILED) so here's my review on the got2be beach trippin' hair spray!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
price ; 8/10
i found this at cvs on sale for about 4.00, although it's normally 6.00. compared to other hair products, it's a decent price.(:
packaging ; 7/10
nothing to fancy. just a yellow color fading into blue.. it also has the back of a girl with wavy hair on the frontt.
product ; 9/10
i juat LOVELOVELOVE this spray! i've been craving those perfect beachy waves... and although the waves you get aren't necessarily 'perfect' but they're amazing! i usually just shower and air dry my hair to when it's just a little damp. then i blow dry the rest of it while scrunching the spray into my hair. after that, i just let the little bit of wet air dry, scrunch a little more, and BAM! i got me some perrty beachy wavess. cx
overall ; 8.5/10
this product is pretty cool, although it is a bit expensive.
well, make sure to request and pm me anytime! hope this review helped!!
Hold Still Book Review!
Hello darlings It Hannah with a book review this is my favorite book and i have read it like 10 thousand times so i though i do a review on it'
--------------------------
SUMMARY 10/10
When Caitlin's parents gently try to tell her the bad news, Caitlin focuses her mind on a recent biology lesson and refuses to listen. But nothing can change the fact that her best friend, Ingrid, has committed suicide. Caitlin attends Ingrid's funeral on the day she was supposed to be getting her learner's permit to drive.
She spends the summer numb and unable to communicate with anyone, even her loving and concerned parents. Then it is fall and time for her to go back to school...without Ingrid. As if the situation isn't already painful enough, Caitlin's favorite teacher ignores her, popular girls that she's never had anything to do with are suddenly all over her, and the guy she's been crushing on for ages asks, "So, how'd she do it?"
A few days later, Caitlin finds Ingrid's journal hidden in her room where Ingrid had left it for her. Caitlin reads it slowly, word by word, trying to draw out this last contact with Ingrid as long as possible and trying to find answers. But as it turns out, there are answers that even Ingrid herself cannot provide.
The closest she comes is a suicide note to Caitlin in which she writes, "I am sad. I am sad all the time and the sadness is so heavy I can't get away from it. Not ever...I don't want to hurt you or anybody, so just please forget about me..."
With no real answers about Ingrid's death available, Caitlin has to look inside herself to decide what makes life worth living and whether she can ever bring herself to trust another person..
OVERALL 10/10
This Book was amazing it has a beautiful message to it, it makes you look at things different it made me appreciate my life more cause i learned that life can be taken away from you in a flash..and to appreciate my friends even more cause im so lucky to have them in my life ♡
VERDICT 9.7/10
I highly suggest you read this book its amazing, it teaches you new things and you never know it might change the way you look at things.
Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer Review(:
Created in the Polyvore iPhone app. http://www.polyvore.com/iPhone
sorry about the set, I'm on the app, also I couldn't upload a pic for the moisturizer since in on the app, so I might do that tomorrow.
anyway, it's @foreverandalways-rachael here!
PRiCE: 3/10
~ since I'm on the app, I'm not sure the exact price of this moisturizer, but I'm pretty sure it's somewhere around $42, depending on where you get it. I got a free sample from Sephora, so I didn't pay, but I think $42 for a small tube of moisturizer is ridiculous.
PACKAGiNG: 9/10
~ the tube is very simple and functions well, although the brown color isn't exactly glamorous, but the simplicity of the tube beats the glam factor, of course(:
PRODUCT: 7.5/10
~ this is a very nice tinted moisturizer, in my opinion. It has light - medium coverage, depending on how you apply it. I use a stippling brush to put it on and it covers pretty well, although I still need concealer on bigger marks and dark circles. I also have super oily skin too, so it doesn't prevent oil all day, but it works good enough.
OVERALL: 7/10
~ the price, although ridiculous, may be worth it if you're looking for a good tinted moisturizer. This TM does moisturize your skin well, and covers nicely for a TM. Although it doesn't control shine for super oily skin, I think for someone with normal / combo skin it would work wonders. It's a very good and well-respected product in the beauty world.(:
The Way Music Video & Song Review(:
hi everyone, @foreverandalways-rachael here, my apologies for not being on. i'm going to be on way more now, i promise! ♥
okay, so this song has been in my head all day, so I figured why not make a review on it, and its music video?
SONG ~ 8.5 /10
ariana has SUCH a good voice. she sounds very similar to mariah carey, but she's young & fresh, and not at all divalicious like mariah. the lyrics are really cute and relate-able to people who've been in love(:
also, its a nice mix of bubblegum-y pop & mac miller's style of rap. mac's part is good too, but honestly without ariana the song would be just ok.
THE ViDEO ~ 5 /10.
the video was kind of boring to be honest. it was just mac & ariana dancing around in a blue background with balloons and that's basically it. I felt like they could have made a way better music video for this song, like something with a cute couple meeting or idk just something a lot better. also, i thought it was weird that mac & ariana kissed in the end, but it might have just been me.
what did you guys think of it?
personally i love the song so much, but the vid just falls short.
Twilight Book Review!
Twilight Book Review!
'Ello! This book review was requested, but she wanted to keep it anonymous(: Okay, let's get started!
-Gabbi {@gabbi-x}
OVERVIEW:
For anyone that is unfamiliar with the beginning of the Twilight saga, I'll give you a quick summary of the first novel(:
Bella just moved from Phoenix, Arizona to the cold and rainy town of Forks. There she notices a unusual group of students that are the Cullen family. She becomes quickly attracted to Edward, one of the Cullen brothers and finds out some secrets about their family that changes her forever.
VERDICT: 5/10
I liked that when I read the book {keep in mind I read it before the movie came out} no one else was reading it. I moved onto the second book but didn't find it as intriguing as the first book so I stopped reading the series. I think the first book is the best, and if you haven't yet watched the movie, I'd watch that after you read the book and see which one you like better! The books are mostly about a love triangle and I found it boring so I wouldn't read it if you don't like books like that. I also didn't like the character of Bella, who I thought was weak and annoying so that's also why I didn't pursue the other 3 books. But if you haven't read the book yet, try something new and read this supernatural thriller next time you see it, but don't be discouraged if you find the other books don't match up to Twilight's potential(:
E.L.F Nail Polish Review!♥
E.L.F Nail Polish Review!♥
Hai c: Hope everyone have a good Monday(: After reading your amazing feedback from our survey, the majority of you guys wanted more book & beauty reviews so this is another beauty review {I have a book review coming in 3 days as well!} for you all. Enjoy!
-Gabbi {@gabbi-x}
OVERVIEW:
I don't wear makeup other than concealer, so when I go to Target I go to the nail polish and skincare aisles instead of the makeup ones. Last time I went to the nail polish racks, I saw e.l.f. had some 50 cent nail polishes so I thought I would give them a try!
PRICE: 9/10
There was a sale on e.l.f. products so they were 50 cents each, but they are regularly a dollar each and they have nail polish collections as well like this one:
http://www.target.com/p/e-l-f-nail-polish-collection-15-pc/-/A-14196286
VERDICT: 3/10
After I tried two coats, the color was still opaque and thin. I just decided to finish it off with my favorite top coat, and the nail polish didn't even last a full day before chipping. I guess I shouldn't be disappointed once I got what I payed for, but I was optimistic that they would hold up better than they did.
